Scholarships & Grants

The Arizona Wildlife Education Foundation awards the following scholarships and grants.

Educational Outreach Grants

The Arizona Wildlife Education Foundation offers grant awards for Arizona based projects that increase the knowledge and appreciation of Arizona's diverse wildlife and habitats, ultimately leading to better stewardship of our state's diverse natural resources. We encourage nonprofit organizations to apply for grant awards (up to $5000 per project) that will lead to this outcome. Please complete the application and forward as directed. Grants are awarded throughout the year.

The grant cycle is temporarily suspended - we hope to resume in 2012.

Becoming an Outdoors Woman Camps

The Arizona Wildlife Federation (AWF) conducts Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW©) workshops several times a year. BOW gives women (18 and older) the opportunity to learn about hunting, fishing, camping and other related outdoor activities in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Scholarships are available for the workshops conducted at Friendly Pines.

All scholarships have been awarded for the 2011 camps. Please check back soon for information on our 2012 scholarships for camps that will take place in the spring and late summer.

For more information on the program, visit the AWF website at www.azwildlife.org.
